Sorry folks but I lost the post this morning. I was attempting to undo an edit and the entire content of the post was erased. Autosave kicked in before I couldn't attempt another undo to get everything back. Very frustrating. This isn't the first time this has happened and I have no idea what triggers Blogger to just zap the content when attempting a simple command. Fortunately it won't be too difficult to recreate the post but it won't be ready until tomorrow morning. So for today we've got to stick with... one more day until the Ortley Beach post!
So frustrating when that happens. The suspense is killing me!
ReplyDeleteUgh. Blogger can be so difficult sometimes. I'm sure you're more familiar with that than I am though... sorry nonetheless! Looking forward to the post once you recreate it :)
ReplyDeleteIt can be very glitchy and google offers exactly ZERO support. Guess that's to be expected when something is free.
ReplyDeleteHere's a suggestion; write everything in Word and paste it as plaintext into blogger using CTRL + SHIFT + V.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I've considered doing that but have tried to avoid it since I really don't need one more file to manage on my computer. The good news is... the zapping of a post has only happened 2 or 3 times out of over 700 posts. It just always seems to happen with a BIG/eagerly awaited one.
