  1. I'm having some people ask me this question, so I'm going to pass it along:

with all the openings Acme's doing, would they consider going back into cities they previously did business in such as Clifton? Their old store in Styertowne is still empty and, if they decided not to because business wasn't right enough for them to come back, we have two empty Pathmarks and one seems move in ready.

    1. Well they abaondoed the store they had and continue to pay rent on it. They then passed on 2 locations they could have taken over. After all of that, I would venture to say they have no interest in having a store in Clifton.

  2. Also, I heard the Denville location has opened. Excited to see what Acme did with it, as it is very close to my home!

    1. The opening of Denville was reported here on the blog on the 25th. Aside from some new lighting there probably aren't a lot of changes to see just yet.

    2. When will you be able to get coverage of the store? I was going to go last night but I went to the Target instead, and I didnt feel like making an extra pit stop at the Acme.

  3. If I were going to speculate, I'd say Acme took a deliberate approach in opening the North Jersey, Westchester, Connecticut, etc... locations first. I don't have any sales data at my disposal, but one could assume they were the higher volume locations. Acme would obviously want to have them open sooner so that more money could be made at them. I'd expect the Jersey Shore locations to be last because they're not doing big business now anyway. Those locations can have longer transition times, too, such as a week or more, instead of just a few days.

  4. I went to the Oak Ridge ACME today, it was a madhouse so busy. The store looks nice, seafood looks amazing, deli is very nice, produce has more lighting. The only bad thing is the floor looks old but besides that it looks great and the store will do amazing and good prices.

  5. Hi AcmeStyle. The link to the Jefferson store in this post actually points to the link for the Blairstown store.
