  1. Based on the building shape, this appears to have been a Food Fair/Pantry Pride, but it lacks their trademark roof. Compare it to the one in Vineland, NJ at Delsea Dr. and Landis Ave. that is now a Family Dollar. It could have possibly served as an Acme at one time. This store also looks like the former Acme in Smyrna, DE that is now subdivided between AutoZone, Movie Gallery, and Dollar General. That store relocated from the peaked-roof Acme across the street and relocated again in 2005. It might have been a Super Saver too. There was a 70's A&P/Super Fresh in the same parking lot. This circa 1956 Food Fair became Family Dollar too: http://www.flickr.com/photos/62355920@N00/2857510329/in/set-72157615211788677/

  2. This location was always an Acme. It was one of the late 1950s style Acmes, with the flat roof and the script logo. It never had a pitched roof, then had the canopy put on in the early 1970s, and was expanded a little on the right.
