UPDATE 11.15.09: The Acme was located here but was torn down after the flood of '72.

UPDATE 11.22.09: The Acme building is still standing afterall...

    Is the former Acme really Voitek Appliances, or is it a block or two south, on the other side of Wyoming Ave., where the current Keefer's Army-Navy store is? Keefer's looks more like an old (way old) Ac-a-mee!
