If only they'd open up in the old A&P in Pompton Lakes, the residents there seem to really want it, so they would probably be fairly successful.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I was reading on Acme's Facebook page that several residents, on the same post, wanted Acme to open up in there. It would be awesome if they did, to revive the old store! :)
DeleteI think Acme would've gone right for that store at the outset if they really wanted it. Would've been fitting.
ReplyDeleteThere's gotta be more to the situation that were not aware of. Seemed like a no-brainer for Acme to take that store. An article on NorthJersey.com from a year ago mentions the landlord being in discussions with a supermarket chain to move into the space. Wonder if it could have been Acme?

DeleteThe store count is actually wrong. Acme has their store count live on (local.acmemarkets.com), and it's 175.
