When I posted the news of South Wildwood's grand reopening, I wasn't sure if they had changed out the décor, especially considering it was a relatively new store. Well it turns out they did! Gotta say, the NJ stores are getting more love than the store's in Acme's core market of Philly. Several "remodeled" stores in that area were left with their previous décor packages.

It took me a second to get used to the original Wildwood store now being referred to as "South Wildwood"; after all these years they're one of two.
ReplyDeleteSouth Wildwood? Never heard that reference before. There are two stores in two towns- Wildwood and North Wildwood.
ReplyDeleteAcme can call the store whatever they want. They're not trying to change the name of Wildwood to South Wildwood.
DeleteOf course they can call it what they want. I didn't mean to imply that they are changing the name of the city. It just seems odd since there is only one Wildwood store and no one else uses the term "South Wildwood," especially since there are two municipalities on the same island that use "North" and "West" in their city and borough names.
