Quality Built In Ocean City!

Photos Courtesy of Michael Lisicky

Location: 100 West Avenue, Ocean City, NJ

Another Jersey Shore store getting spruced up for the summer season! (Notice the sign about the remodel on the left side of the photo). I wouldn't be surprised is Acme is getting all the acquired A&P stores remodeled by Memorial Day weekend. This store may be having its grand reopening by week's end. I'll keep my eyes pealed for the news.

  1. Looks like this was a simple one, mostly signs hung from the ceiling. The floor wasn't changed but then again it is a relatively new store and didn't need a new one. We need to find out if the Pathmark stores are getting the same treatment.

    1. When I was at the Cottman Avenue Acme (Former Pathmark/Super Fresh), they still have the "Sav-A-Center" decor

  2. do you think theyre going to remodel the store in Ortley? A&P remodeled it fully after Sandy hit, and it still looks great

  4. Sounds like what's happening in Wall.

I think the shore stores are getting remodeled before the summer crowds move in. Montclair hasn't been touched. Maybe the suburban stores will get remodeled this summer when people are vacationing at the shore?

    1. I'd have to figure you're right. I was in the Stadium Plaza Jersey City store earlier tonight. Talk about a store in need of a facelift. You immediately recognize that you're in a former Pathmark store, and that's not a good thing.
