Marv sent in a couple of photos of letters falling off the walls at the Salisbury store. This particular conversion was a big rush, so perhaps the letters were a little short changed with glue. Seems like it would be an easy fix though. Pretty embarrassing for a store that was doing a million a week when it was a Giant. No word on how business has been since Acme took over with their falling letters and rising prices.

Falling signage...rising prices...it all evens out! Sign of things to come?
ReplyDeleteThey are as busy as ever, a great location and Acme us well known in the area.
ReplyDeleteAnd to think Acme was doing so well too.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the higher prices are paying for hard hats for all customers in freshly remodeled stores?
ReplyDeleteSad when the Albertsons-Marketplace-equipped Levittown store looks to be in better shape.
Doesn't Levittown have PF&H v3 now?
