And a merry Christmas to you too! I just learned a little "secret" about the Audubon PA Genuardi's which will be the last to stay open after the Marlton NJ store closes. Apparently, the PLCB (Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board) persuaded Genuardi's to wait a while to close the Audubon store because a PLCB Wine & Spirits Shoppe (State Store) is next door, and this liquor store is special because the district manager for all Montgomery County PLCB stores works at this one. It would hurt PLCB public relations and perhaps stir up the privatization movement if the Genuardi's there closed and became an eyesore. I doubt anything interesting will ever replace that particular Genuardi's given its size and location. Hopefully a gourmet grocer such as Whole Foods or The Fresh Market will consider it, but the surrounding area isn't rich. An upscale outlet mall isn't too far away however, and maybe this can be a draw for a gourmet store.
