What an absolute mess this will be!
Progressive Grocer is reporting Inserra will be doing an extensive remodel to the former Edgewater ACME/Pathmark which will take an unfathomable two years. Sounds fun. You can read more details of the plans by clicking
here. The article falsely reports that the store has already had a year-long remodel with two years to go. Huh? How does any of that even begin to make sense. ShopRite didn't start transforming the store until September 15th, four days before opening to shoppers. The store is sorely in need of a full renovation. Floors are a mess. Cases are old. Layout is still painfully Pathmark. And honestly, it's not the best-smelling store around. Here's to better days, even though they're apparently years away.
That article is a mess. It reads to me like they're trying to say that they're doing it in two stages, each one year long.
ReplyDeleteYa got that right! My math came up with one year remodel complete with an additional TWO years planned. I wrote in to Progressive Grocer and told them what a mess the article was. It's not the first time. They probably won't edit it. They're not know for accuracy or fact checking their articles.
