Signature brands get simplified...

PART 2

New Signature Farms logo! I've only seen it on the mushroom packaging so far. Same tag treatment as we saw with Signature Select.

Hmmmm... not sure why "Quality Guaranteed" is not located on the tag like it is with on other updated Signature brand packaging. The old logo can be seen below...

Here we have Signature Kitchens and Signature Select preserves. Curious to see how a situation like this will play out. Signature Kitchens appears to be dead in favor of "Select". Will these two varieties of preserves gets paired down to one?

PRIORITY TOTAL PET CARE OUT
SIGNATURE SELECT PET CARE IN

Fromt the minute Safeway's rebranded products started showing up on Acme's shelves, I thought the Priority pet food packaging had the absolute best design. That said, I couldn't help but wonder how much Blue's pet food packaging inspired Safeway's design...

Acme just began carrying Blue pet food in the last few weeks with announcements in the weekly circular and Big Book along with displays in stores. Did Blue's recent arrival on Acme shelves prompt a redesign of the Priority line? Hard to know for sure but it does seem like the timing of the redesign was more than just a coincidence. Acme has been brining a lot of new items in the past few months. Possibly a response to endless complaints online about the poor product selection at the converted stores. The two Acmes I shop at regularly are now bringing back numerous products that were dumped when the stores were reset.

OPEN NATURE ARRIVES
IN THE PET AISLE!

Added to baby products and now to pet food. The updated logo has yet to appear on grocery items as far as I can tell.

WALL OF SIGNATURE COOKIES!

This massive display was at the Edgewater store this past weekend. Looked even bigger in person. The displays continued around the corner on the left side. If shoppers didn't know Signature Select was Acme's brand, they probably do now.

  2. I've seen some redesigned Open Nature packaging on meat at Safeway in Phoenix, so it is probably on its way to Acme.

Checking the label on the Open Nature dry cat food I found it to be comparable to Natural Balance and "I and Love and You."

Interested in what Acme folks think about the new Open Nature label. I like it - more modern.

  3. I was just at the Bensalem Acme, and I seen The Snack Artist brsnd is also becoming Signature Select. As far as Signature Home is concerned, the only item from that brand to switch over has been the Aluminum Foil. Everything else has not changed.
