Will Acme build a replacement store on this site? Apparently not anytime soon. As you'll hear in the video, there are currently no plans to redevelop of the property.

ReplyDeleteSad to see the property not being redeveloped. Makes me wonder whether local residents want something other than a shopping center on the site or whether the owner sees dollar signs developing condos or a hotel instead.
This mall has become quite an eyesore. I am hoping for a new mixed use project, maybe a condo tower, with a new Acme on the lower floors.
ReplyDeleteWhy did Acme buy that dumpy spot in the first place if there wasn't a possibility of redeveloping a newer/larger store in the future?
ReplyDeleteThere is possibility for redevelopment now that Superfresh is outta there. Acme undoubtedly acquired the store with plans to expand or build a replacement store. There's just nothing in the work at this time.
