Going forward, all comments will need to be approved prior to their posting. You will see a notice to this effect when you click the "Publish" button after you've completed your comment. This change is due to a recent barrage of rude and obnoxious comments from one individual.
The moderation process does cause a delay in comments posting to the blog. The delay should be minimal as I am able to approve comments from my phone. Any comments left after about 10 pm at night will be approved first thing the following morning.
Since we're on the topic of forum issues, I just wanted to let you know that comments can't post if you put a space after the security code. This prevented me from commenting here for over a year. I put spaces because it was hard to read the security code even when I typed it because spell check underlined it. The error made me think something was wrong with my computer. Hopefully nobody else had this problem.
